Bower Farm submitted by HarryTwenty : Western side looking south showing loose stone on top of the cave. Don't know if it's leftovers from the original archaeological dig or farm related clearance. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Bower Farm
Bower Farm submitted by HarryTwenty : Southern side looking north. It's a great site but the views to the north are ruined by the sewage farm and to the east by Rugeley.

Bower Farm
Bower Farm submitted by HarryTwenty : Interior of the cave. The cave is only 2.5m deep and 1m high. Mesolithic flints and tools were found inside during an archaeological excavation as well as an early Bronze Age knife. The cave is originally thought to have been used as a Mesolithic hunting camp.

Bower Farm
Bower Farm submitted by HarryTwenty : Approaching from the north and looking SE with one of the chimneys from Rugeley power station visible on the left. The mound you can see with the tree growing on it in the centre of the picture is the site of the cave.
