In a little garden area beside the little square near to the Mairie and the church of Blainville-sur-Mer, stands a little granite menhir, recently rediscovered.

The stone stands about 1.2 metres tall, and was found during roadworks here in 1992.

I found this stone a day or two ago during my recent visit to Normandy. Description and pictures to come soon. Another of La Manche's elusive and largely unknown megalithes has now been found and made known to all via the Megalithic Portal.
