Hillfort in Buckinghamshire

From SolarMegalith: Remains of this Iron Age plateau fort are located in southern part of Burnham Beeches forest. NE part of the earthworks has been completely destroyed by quarrying, some traces of bank and ditch have survived in eastern and southern part of the site. The best preserved sector of the earthworks in the western one, where the ditch is clearly distinguishable. The monument is dated for Late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age.

Burnham Beeches is a beautiful and well maintained forest. Near the footpath leading to the fort there is an information table.
