**Lystyn Uchaf Scheduled Enclosed Hut Group** submitted by TAlanJones : The largest eastern hut circle. (Vote or comment on this photo)

The site is situated on a platform/shelf on an otherwise westerly sloping pastoral field. Coflein has recorded the site as dating from the Iron Age. I identified three hut circles within an irregular rectangular enclosure that meets a field boundary wall on its NE side. The sloping ground of this field and the adjacent fields show signs of levelling that may have accommodated further huts. Coflein Ref: NPRN 301039
The hut circles differ in size with the largest easterly hut being about 7m in diameter and the smallest about 4m in diameter to the north of the enclosure. All the huts are dish shaped with reasonably definable circular banks. The enclosure appears to extend to the west creating a site that is a compact trapazoid shape of about 20m on its longest NE side.
