Extra Info:
Caerwych Lake, apart from BCF is my place of interest to get away from it all. A setting of peace and good vibrations. Approx 40 minutes from the rough ground car park above Eisingrug you will arrive at the twin lakes. Take a left at the smaller one, Llyn Eiddew Bach (small Ivy lake) and follow the edge of the lake, along the path around id a semi circle to your left finally climbing the boggy steepish upslope. You will finally arrive on the Drovers trail . From this point, walk, climb or rather crawl in places, up a steep hillock then down into a valley and up another steep hillock. There is a path upwards to avoid stepping on the glorious heather. You will finally glimpse the infamous lake in all it's beauty, complete with remains of a pre historic stone bridgre, a trek indeed worth undertaking. You will be rewarded with a peaceful setting of unparalleled beauty. Just the sound of an occasional bird and the breeze skimming across the lake. You might be lucky ti see some wild fowl, as I did at one time.
