Although I enjoy on-site dowsing, I also do map
emote dowsing, always checking on-site where possible, for confirmation. I also do deviceless dowsing. At first it was an excitement rising in my chest which I failed to recognize, thinking it was merely a normal reaction to finding what I was dowsing for, then it changed a bit. I now get a "clicking" in my ears or a contraction in my throat. For over 15 years I have been dowsing for and tracking ancient underground tunnel. I know some dating is possible (C1th) due to the Dissolution of the monasteries and am certain these tunnels began around the C11th and C12th. I map out all that I find but there is too much to do, and far too big a distance to cover, for it all to be mapped. Northumberland and Durham I HAVE covered extensively. I have had separate confirmations of many of these tunnels.
