Little Walsingham Holy Well
Little Walsingham Holy Well submitted by pab : Holy Well, located next to the ruins of Abbey of St Mary, in Little Walsingham. Site is now part of the Abbey Museum grounds, so a charge is payable (£3, in April 2007). It was not possible for me to remove the cover to have a proper look, but perhaps someone making a pre-arranged visit might be allowed to do so. The main well was approximately 5m by 5m, with 2 circular wells very close by... (Vote or comment on this photo)
Holy Well / Spring in Norfolk

There are two medieval healing wells, now described as wishing wells and a medicinal bath at Walsingham Priory, recorded as Pastscape Monument No. 359067, the most recent entry being from 1971, reading: "Both the bath and the wells are now in excellent condition, indicating that the former has certainly been restored and the others probably have. They are set in a small ornamental garden access to which is gained through a re-erected Norman doorway at TF93413680."

The Journal of Antiquities also features a page for this Abbey and shrines - see their entry for Walsingham, Norfolk, which includes a brief history, directions for finding the shrines and information about how this site became a place of pilgrimage - "For many twentieth-century [and 21st!] pilgrims the annual pilgrimage to Walsingham is a highlight of the Christian year". The Journal includes a list of reference sources for more information.

Whilst there is no specific entry for these wells on Historic England, see Historic England List ID 1004055, Ruins and site of Walsingham Priory for the scheduling information; the location of the wells are marked on their map (use the grid reference below in their 'map search' feature). Little Walsingham Holy Well
Little Walsingham Holy Well submitted by pab : In addition to the well next to the ruins of St Mary's Abbey at the grid reference reported in Vicky's initial entry for the Portal, there is also a Holy Well located inside the current Anglican shrine of Walsingham. This plaque hangs above the well, but my visit to this wonderful place was too short for me to look into the discrepancy further. A spring visit when the bluebells are out i... This place is one of the few known locations where the most significant energy lines dedicated to Michael The Archangel, The Blessed Virgin Mary, The Holy Ghost and Jesus of Nazareth cross at the same point which is under the arch at the above Holy Well.
The other well known location is Glastonbury Tor. The link below will take you to a suitable starting point for more information.

Re: Little Walsingham Holy Well by Anonymous on Tuesday, 16 August 2016
In the 1930's when Father Hope Patten was inspired to rebuild Walsingham as a place of Pilgrimage, he was unable to purchase the original site of there Shrine and Holy Well, that arose after Richeldis' Visions of Our lady of Walsingham, who instructed her to build the Holy House of Nazareth.
So he built the new Shrine right next to the Abbey grounds, and discovered a disused Well, which is the current Holy Well used by Pilgrims. As it is only a few hundred yards away from the previous Holy Wells, its water is probably from the same source as the others.

I understand that Richeldis de Faveraches had a dream in which she saw the Blessed Virgin Mary, rather than having a vision of her or seeing an apparition. But I would go along with what you say. It is, perhaps, difficult to distinguish from seeing Our Lady, in dream-form, and having/seeing a vision (apparition) of her. It is a fine-line between the religious/divine realm that is not of this world, maybe.
