pammyamf visited on 2nd Jun 2022 - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 4 Access: 4 Vegetation has been cleared, easy to spot it from the footpath. Jumped over the wall to get there, but walked back along the field to the gate and climbed over that, which if we'd known it would lead us to the site, we'd have probably chosen that way to get to the chamber in the first place. Lovely little place, set near a little glade in the middle of pasture

The pictures say it all, really. Accessed by a footpath, and the chamber is to the left. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Disappearing into the undergrowth there are many more hunks of limestone - but it soon becomes apparent there is a limestone pavement just beneath the surface. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Coed y Glyn - Clearance, and Footpath by TimPrevett on Monday, 23 April 2007
(User Info | Send a Message)
This burial chamber has had recent vegetation clearance, making it much more easy to see. The former access into the field from the bridleway is fenced off, but following the perimeter of the field on the inside is easy enough.
