A 2.3m high standing stone which may be prehistoric or perhaps part of an historic cross-shaft. According to local tradition the stone was formerly used to rid the district of a fiery dragon.

The stone, possibly of granite, is hexagonal in section and appears historic rather than prehistoric. It is very accessible - just a few metres off the side road in the hedgerow, after you turn left off the A493 (heading west into Tywyn).
