|Description ||This interesting old postcard's half penny Edward VII postage stamp is rubber-stamped with '8.45AM [top line] MR 29 [2nd line] 05 [bottom line]', so I take it to mean '29th March 1905'? The road is very narrow and quiet compared to these days!.. though Silbury Hill doesn't look any different. On the back 'Monty' writes to 'Adelina', "Only about 9 more days before we come home thank-goodness. Things are awfully dull here. It does nothing but rain all day."|
