Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | This ring ditch is only known to be here because of aerial photography. It lies just off the north side of the B4397, to the west of the 'Baschurch crossroads'. I've highlighted the area to give a sense of position and size.
There is a cluster of 5 ring ditches about a half a mile away on the southside of the B4397, but I have a feeling these are at present being built over with the construction of a new farm.
(On the horizon is Nesscliffe hillfort, some 5 miles away, and directly behind is The Berth hillfort at a distance of about half a mile). |
