The elements of the site include:
- A Stone Circle formed by 15 small stones (up to 40/50cm high) surrounded by a small earthen bank.
- An avenue flanked by two earthen banks, starting in the circle and oriented SW (235º to be precise).
- A semi-destroyed earth tumulus at the other end of the avenue.
All the area limited by the earthen banks (the circle and the avenue) is covered by fist-sized stones.
The structure of the place is as follows (Right is 235º):

Circle + Avenue + Tumulus
Regardless of the authenticity of this site the view is certainly breathtaking, especially late in the afternoon when this picture was taken (pity about the cloud though). |
