Description The southern rampart, stood upon by helpful assistants, at Haughmond Hill Camp. There is a blasted, burnt and dangerously leaning hollow tree on the northern rampart. The remains of this fort are not impressive, but visibility to other sites is fantastic. See main site entry for more details. This makes for a largely pleasant hour or so round walk from the car parking further east, but mind all the dog poo around the footpaths near the car park. We were not pleased about the amount of material we had to dodge.
