It was inhabitted between 7000 and 4000 BCE. It consists of round stone huts and a defensive rampart. Unussualy, the dead were buried beneath the floors. A reconstructed hut is located near the entrance/parking lot and excavations from the burials are located in the wonderful Nicosia Museum. It is thought that climactic changes led to the abandonment of this site. |
