This image has been widely misreported as being from Cat Hole Cave, West Glamorgan, Wales (http://www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=4471). The original photograph source seems be from Karen V Bryan's photographs on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/europealacarte/3279131710 and can also be seen on her blog http://www.europealacarte.co.uk/blog/2009/02/14/pictish-drawings-in-the-wemyss-caves-scotland/

The animal in this indistinct photo by Karen V Bryan can be seen clearly on RCAHMS: it is not a deer, nor a horse, having cat-like hindquarters and a long tail held over its back.
