(2005-09-05) | Interesting. Vaguely reminiscent of the Easter Island statues. Did this perhaps serve as an oracle of some sort? Remember the scene in "Roman Holiday" where Gregory Peck dared Audrey Hepburn to put her hand into the "mouth" of the stone? This rather reminds me of that, too. Put your hand into the mouth of the stone, and if you are telling the truth, you are able to pull your hand out again intact... |
