You can see how distant Haytor and Saddle Tor are now.
Quoting Butler: “The field associated with Hut 3 (7.1 m) is detached from the rest of the settlement. The gap in the reave opposite the hut may be the original entrance into the yard. The excavators found only a flint flake which they concluded was probably a knife.” |
