Jackie and I had walked up the obvious track (presumably leading to the car park -'P' on OS map- at Scorhill Farm), to the highest point ENE of Scorhill*. We came back downhill via this slightly more southerly track, parallel to the first, with views to the N. Teign river. The Tolmen Stone would be approx where the pine trees disappear towards its banks. *Scorhill Tor itself is actually lower down the contours of that rise, near the river, SE of the circle. (See OS map). |
