Description Kite aerial photo. This shows Maen Llia sticking out her tongue, on it's way down to the nearby Afon Llia stream for a drink.
This may interest anyone who heard Sem's talk during the latest Portal even in Derbyshire.

Amazing view! If you follow the point of her tongue, there's a mark in the landscape just after the stream, is it another stone or recognised feature?

Well done Cerrig, but admit it - you only bought the kit to find the sheep hiding from you!

This was captured on a Go Pro Hero 2 helmet camera, hanging from a Dan Leigh Delta kite. The kite is thankfully very easy to fly, and the camera takes very good fish eye photo's and video's, and it's a lot of fun too. Just right for a beginner like me. Recommended.
Hamish Fenton's work has inspired me to have a go at this.

A bit more info on the shadow can be found in this thread, and on the main site page;
http://www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=Forum&file=viewtopic&topic=5134&forum=4&start=0

The shadow here is pointing down a path that leads to the stream, and a large stone that happens to lie there. Although the shadow didn't reach it on the day I took this photo ( July 25th) it would reach it on another date when the sun sets directly below where it was when this was taken. I'm not sure of the date for that but it would be sometime in May I believe. I will have to check on that now that Rune has alerted me to it.

Naw Sem, it's the chase that is the best part . I would have thought you'd know that!!

Good set - I should have the video of Sem's talk to show before too long
