|Description ||Some people reckon that they can see faces that have been carved on megaliths. Maybe, but I believe that they are the results of natural weathering. The faces are in the eyes of the beholder. A little emphasis here and a little less there and Merlin emerges from one of the stones of Callanish.|
|AAaahhh - now I'm with you! Accentuating the mouth made all the difference! (Scarfe WAS the cartoonist whose name I couldn't remember! You make us sound like the wise ones of the tribe!)|

|The background lacks some details, and also a greater range of tone, and blending the contrasting areas of shade on the rock would improve it and develop shape.|
