Description To help locate Circle 278 - which is missed by many due to its hidden location behind a ridge near the anomalous stone setting in the centre of this picture.

Thanks for this - have printed it out in case I get to visit the area one day. It will be most useful.

Oh dear, I forgot this, and missed the Cors Y Carneddau circle!

Shame, Angie! You'll know better for the future ;-) ; the cairns near Cors Y Carneddau are actually much more impressive than said circle...

ShropshireTraveller - thanks for the location photo - like Angie, I had printed it out in case I was in the area, and it was very helpful when I was there this weekend....I would definitely have missed the circle without it!

isnt this site or complex absolutly awesome the sheer scale of it blows you away (did you notice the row of stones in the farmers fields half way up mountain lane) i wonder how many of the stones and circles were took to help build the walls of the farmers fields? the avenue reminds me of the curses at stonehenge, but yeh man what a site
