I've noticed that most of your photos are taken around dawn or dusk and the golden hour of late afternoon. Charlie Waite, the best landscape photographer since Ansell Adams, reckons all cameras should be left in their bags from mid morning to mid afternoon. Certainly applies to stoney pics - overhead sun robs them of texture and substance and kills them stone dead (ouch) |
