Description Summer solstice sunrise-2012. One of a sequence of 500 photos in a time lapse of the sunrise. The curious finger of light, a result of reflections in the lens, seemed to be attracted to Maen Llia right through the sequence.

Great stuff - can you turn the sequence into a video perhaps?

I have started to do just that Andy. Can I add it to the Meg. Portal when done?

Yes, upload it to one of the video upload sites like Youtube and you can embed it on our Maen Llia page

Fantastic!
But doesn't your finger feel a bit numb after 500 shots?

It's my pocket money counting finger, so it's well calloused and muscley.

I don't know if this was visible to anything but the camera. I set the intervalometer going, and then went back to the car to wait,( and fell asleep) I woke up an hour later and the fairies had been playing with the sunshine. They are very good at it .

A lovely shot and (IMHO) transformed by the photographic artefacts; a view with the naked eye would be dull in comparison.
