Later it became a local sanctuary. The stone circle around divides the holy area from the world.

(2004-11-12) | The Thracians were people who lived in Thrace - an ancient region of the eastern part of the Balkan peninsula. Now it is part of Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece, but formerly it was a province of Rome. Spartacus, the famous gladiator, was a Thracian slave. |
