Everything was bathed in a golden light which was most un-wintery. The land to the left (behind Gwadn Bay) is a marshy stream valley and the small harbour of Solva is to the right. The bank and ditch system of an ancient Iron Age fort is on the end of the promontory. A perfect defence position with spectacular views. Solva is just about the most perfect place to be at any time of the year!
