"The shaman figure is normally static, frozen in a frontal pose with arms upraised. This unusual composition from Black Cave, often called the dancing shaman, is one of the few where action or interaction can be inferred. It has been suggested that the red and black spots represent the hallucinogenic and poisonous native seeds that may have been used to induce trance states." (www.rockart.org/gallery/rock16.html)
