Description From North. If you look you can see a big smiley face. The stone was laughing at me because I'd walked backwards into a pile of stingies to get this view. Strange sense of humour these Crickhowell stones have.

Good shot Cerrig! This looks a lovely spot to stop and contemplate a handsome stone.

It is indeed a handsome stone, all 8 feet of it. And it is a nice spot, even with the nearby shed. A very interesting menhir, this one, reminds me a little of Maen Llia, but a quieter and more restful feel to it.
Just don't contemplate from this viewpoint, not without kevlar longjohns .
