Could St Dwynwen's well have been re-dedicated to St Mary as in Ffynnon Fair ? | wellhopper (2012-04-29) | I have been told in the past that Ffynnon Fair (St Mary's Well) was often used as a generic name for a Holy Well in general, so quite possibly the two names were used interchangeably. This well appears on maps today as Ffynnon Dafaden - the wart well, from its claimed efficacy in curing warts
