This is taken ascending Tal y Fan mountain.
There is a conspicuously white stone just left of centre; this stone is very large, and of different character than the other stones.
In the valley below within the picture (but not visible) is the Roman port and fort of Canovium - an essential link in their North Wales strongholds. |
