Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | This is a view of the " possible" barrow, looking East, towards the central Brecon Beacons. The cloud covered hills in the far distance are the Black Mountains, with Hay on Wye of the" book festival" fame just beyond the left hand cloud.
This is taken with the lens set at 50mm, so it looks about the same size as it does by eye.
The central cup formed by the twin peaks of Pen y Fan and Corn Ddu looks to be the same size as the sun and moon from this distance ( approx. 1/2 degree wide)
Some idea of the damage caused by vehicles over the years can be seen on the r/h slope of the mound. |
