A scene from Laurieston forest in Dumfries and Galloway|
|Beautiful - just beautiful|
|Agree with that. Having a damn autofocus electronic SLR I have to use an electronic remote control to do B-settings which is a downer as I don't have one!|
|That's one of the reasons why I stay retro. That lovely soft water effect can only be achieved with a tripod and a long exposure. Brief exposures freeze waterfalls and lose all sense of motion. Long exposures can give wonderful effects with waves on the seashore - all milky and romantic.|
|This was taken on a digital SLR so there's no need to stay retro if you don't want to. :)|
|You do surprise me! I'll have to think of another reason to stay retro.|
|This pic is absolutely gorgeous - so serene....... magical!
It's interesting to hear all your comments too. Must read my camera handbook properly one day, and stop using automatic!! (Nikon F65 owner).|
