This Bronze Age Ring Cairne close to Sweyne's Howe is one of about a dozen cairns that were built on the Rhossili Downs. This one is comprises of a circle of upright stones which surround a level platform. In the middle of the platform is a hollow which may be the remains of a burial cist. |
