Note the flat surface (marked "E") of orthostat S2. This side faced towards the entrance. The eastern chamber part and the passage are robbed while the 5 orthostats and the 2 capstones of the western chamber part are preserved in situ. As at several other sites in the Netherlands low concrete blocks were used to mark the positions of the missing orthostats. Foreground left a marked passage orthostat (PW1) and to the right orthostat S3. Capstone C2 (counting from the West) was moved of its orthostats when Prof. van Giffen examined the site in the early 20th century, but this later was restored.
