| Posted Comments: AngieLake (2012-01-11) | We lived at Chynance Road in Newquay in the early 70s. | cazzyjane (2012-01-13) | Did you visit any nearby wells when you were there? | AngieLake (2012-01-13) | No, I can't recall doing this during my ex's 4-yr posting, as was busy with 3 youngsters then and not into megaliths - what a wasted chance! We did visit Bodmin Moor, and St Pirans Lost Oratory, though. When we moved to S.Devon in '78, we walked out to Grey Wethers with the kids. Also to Cow Castle on Exmoor. I think those two sites were the first to 'move' me, then the real interest probably started at Scorhill in 94, while recovering from serious illness. |
