PO= Passage orthostats, C=Capstones,
K=Kerbstone of the oval enclosure
all deeply embedded into the ground.
This is one of the large passage graves of the funnel beaker people's western group. It is oriented SW-NE. The lateral passage faces SE. As usual it is situated at the centre of a long-side.
The megalithic ensemble is almost complete except for the disturbed southwestern third. The chamber deeply embedded into the ground. Only the tops of several chamber orthostats are visible. Due to the damages in the SW it is difficult to give the exact length of the chamber, but it has to be 21-23m* . The enclosure measured appr. 29m* by 7m. It is extremely well preserved except for the southwestern third.
The original number of chamber capstones possibly was 13. At least eight are preserved largely in situ. Two partly buried stones in the SW possibly also are capstones (judging from position and size).
Nowadays it gets cleared from time to time, but two large trees partly hide it during growing season. By the time Sprockhoff et. al. examined the site it was extremely overgrown so they had difficulties to inspect it.
