Description The Dover Boat, dated from the Bronze Age is approximately 3,550 years old, is located in the Dover Museum. A total of over 30 feet of the boat has been recovered. This represents at least half, but possibly as much as two-thirds of the original.

Ah!.. in Neil Oliver's opinion, The Dover Boat was the “single most moving and impressive archaeological artefact I have ever seen." After entering the protective display case he recalls - "I was suddenly in the presence not of something, but someone." [Excerpt from 'A History of Ancient Britain'.]
