The sun breaking through the clouds over the Conwy Valley, with the fog clinging and rolling around the River Conwy beneath.
Taken 6:16am, Thursday 29th July 2004 from the front of the Rowen Youth Hostel, Conwy - base of a stones meet in April 2004, and October 2004.
The hostel has a Roman road running beside it, with at least: 4 standing stones, 1 dolmen, 1 chambered tomb, a cross, and 3 hut circles - all within 25 mins walk west of the hostel. Extending the walk further west adds in even more, towards Aber and the Northern Carneddau.
A magical location in many ways - and what better place to have breakfast and sup Earl Grey Tea! |
