On Harford Moor, near the upper reaches of Butter Brook, are the remains of a couple of stone alignments, which are very close together. There is a short double row, which extends in a northeasterly direction away from a small cairn.
Just to the north of this is a single row of stones, which crosses beyond the end of the double row.
This is a view looking to the northeast, with the remains of the double row seen on the right, the single row on the left, lit by the last rays of the sun on solstice eve 2004. |
