Two stones, not covered by undergrowth, of a contiguous long line of such stones on which a field wall has been built. The stones are slabs about 3' square. The immediate area (near the Hellstone Barrow) contains a large number of megaliths and folk-lore suggests a ceremonial aspect. Could this be a toppled stone row? |
