Description SY 578877 A stone lying on a possible processional way linking sites centred round Grey Mare & her Colts. It lies just to the left of public footpath between Grey Mare and Kingston Russell Stone Circle just before entering the field containing the circle. It is about 3' long, about 15" wide at the base and tapers to a point.

One way of putting it! Fortunate that the stinging nettles which abound in the area kept away from this stone.
