Is that an orthostat I see before me?
At the back with the angled top, so different to all the other stones. Beautiful atmospheric shot PAB.

Thanks Rune & Angie - the light was lovely looking in this way. As to the stone you mention - would it have to be 'grounded' to be a proper orthostat? I will have a look through the other photos I took, but I think there were quite a few fairly massive stones incorporated into the well walls.

I must visit this one, one day. Was tired when writing that comment and got it muddled with St Seriol's Well!! (How did I do that?!) Thought it was bigger than I remembered, too!! Still good atmosphere, though.

A great picture pab, just love those big stones round the well and, the nice colours. A really special place this.
