Corridor to a rectangular chamber, but in this languedoc way (not symmetric to the chamber). So corridor + chamber look bit like an "L" from above. | Martin L (2011-08-24) | Now back at home I can ask more precisely: Is the groundplan similar for example to the dolmen languedocien de la Gruella à Cornus (groundplan on Pl 22. in: Chevalier, Y., L'architecture des dolmens entre languedoc et centre-ouest de la france, Habelt, Bonn 1984)? | regina (2011-08-25) | The chamber is rectangular, and the corridor is not in the middle, so it looks like an "L" from above.
I have a photo from october 2009 from the backside of the dolmen, it is a bad photo because of all the shadow. | Martin L (2011-08-25) | Thank you very much for answering my question. So it really is of the type depicted for example on Pl. 22 in Yves Chevalier's book. |
