Detail photograph showing recent looking damage to the Clach Mhic Mhios standing Stone in Glen Loth, Sutherland.
I think the stone has been shot twice in recent times revealing the colour of the red sandstone. If you look in the centre of the image there is a much older circular mark (covered in lichen), also possibly from the stone being shot.
