The mist made the stones stand out beautifully. If only one could press a mute button to silence the cars ;-) Still a site worth a visit!
A very safe way to get to the site is to park at the Little Chef west of the village of Winterbourne Abbas. There is a footpath leading to the stone circle. |

(2011-12-17) | Interesting site I visited in the midst of August 2011. It went trough some changes the last few years as I noticed over here... The old tree (when it was alive) grew around one stone almost completely. |
