I finally found this elusive stone, but not without the help of a kindly farmer who lent me a book on Lincolnshire folklore.

The legends of this stone are fascinating (or should I say three stones?) the debate is - were these three stones stacked or one shaped stone?

Would love to find it too! I have been for a wander and a search but couldn't find it. Pls advise of its position, and is it on private land?
