(2005-02-17) | Beautiful piccy. Just shows that our ancestors probably did not align their monuments on the equinoctial sunrise/sunset. At that time of the year, unlike at the midsummer and midwinter standstills, the sun is moving along the horizon by about its own diameter each day and so alignment with horizon features is so much more difficult to set up. |
