(2011-05-01) | Hi sunny - I am not sure I can see the three-armed detail you mean? We are hoping to pass by this way soon and I wonder if it is worth a detour, but it is hard to tell from this photo just how significant 9 (ie big!) the piece in this photo actually is.
Do you have any other detail please about the bits which are still there - missed by the thieves presumably? | Sunny100
(2011-05-01) | PAB, there is a photo of 'The Triskele Stone' in the church. Some think it represents Thor's hammer, or it could be something to do with the 'holy trinity (three). There are supposed to be three arms, these go from the centre upwards and outward with interlacing in between. Please take a photo of the photo when you go and photos of the other fragments. |
