This impressive 88' diameter circle stands close to the edge of the moor and has thus not escaped damaged. The interior has been churned up by tracks, a number of the fallen stones show signs of having been deliberately split, and 1 stone in the western arc has a neat row of jumper holes down the centre in preparation for conversion to a gatepost! |
