Description View from the footpath across the quarry to the barrow on the other side. The barrow is on the highest part of the 'cliff' top in front of the trees.

You can see from this photo how much sand there is under the barrow. Answer, a fair bit as it's a pretty deep working but they are limited in how much further they can take the quarry this way as there is a footpath and fully scheduled barrows just into the trees behind
