|Description ||Carn Ennit lies south of the B9025 Turriff-Aberchirder road in north Aberdeenshire. Turn off at the junction signposted 'Bogton 1 mile' and continue until, just after a sharp bent to the right, the gatehouse to Carnousie Estate/Castle appears. Go through this gateway and follow the eatate track for 0.4 mile then park on the verge opposite Carnousie Castle (which is on the right).|
The best approach is to continue down the track for about a quarter of a mile until it turns sharply to the left. Around this bend is a gate, on the left, which leads to a forest track that follows the treeline east, then doubles back in a northerl direction. As the trees finally thin out, you will see the huge Carn Ennit boulder beyond the fence to your right.
